Amenity Key Descriptions

Below are brief descriptions of the abbreviations used in identifying what characteristics or amenities are in a neighborhood.  Surveys are taken that include approximately two full calendar years and a partial third. The "X's" indicate that a current listing or sale has occurred in that price range during the survey period.  A new survey may indicate that a sale did not occur in a range shown in a prior survey and we have placed an NA in the box to designate no activity for that range during the latest survey. This allows us to indicate that activity or sales has occurred in that range and may possibly occur again at a later date.

AIR - The neigborhood has been built around a private airfield and owners have access to the facility.

BS - Boat slips are available at the neighborhood marina via by deed with the home or rental from a homeowner isn't using their titled boat slip. There are also numerous commercial marinas around the lake.

C - This complex has condo units.

CH - The neighborhood has a full pledged clubhouse or restroom facility at the pool area.

EQ - Indicates that this neighborhood has equestrian facilities or caters to horse owners.

GAT - Neighborhood is a gated community. The security of a gated community may be 24 hours a day or only during night time hours. A gated community doesn't necessarily indicate a crime problem but merely the desire for privacy in the neighborhood.

GC - This neighborhood is either a part of the golf course development or is a neighborhood that is adjacent to the course that provides golf course views for some homes.

LA - Lake access to the lake is available to residents by way of a ramp.

MDW - This community allows manufactured double wide units. The community may also have modulars and stick built homes.

MOD - Modular homes are allowed in this neighborhood. The community may possibly also allow manufactured double wides.

NA - Indicates that there hasn't been any sales occuring in that price range during the most recent survey.  The NA also indicates that activity in that price range occurred in that range in the previous survey.

NC - New construction has occurred during the survey period.  Many of these comnmunities are new subdivisions but some neighborhoods may have been established for a good many years and contain scattered lots that have had a new home built.

P - A community pool is available in this neighborhood as an amenity.

T - Tennis courts are present in this community.

TH - This community has townhouse units.

TH w/#c - This key code indicates the townhouse community has garage units that may accommodate one or two cars.

WF - These are waterfront communities with waterfront or waterview homes. They would also possibly have interior lots that do not have a waterviews.

55+ - This community caters to or restricts homeowners to the 55 years and over age group.
